great choice. The 50 may be required to get the proper oil pressure when the oil is heated above normal while racing or if the engine is worn. In some engines the 50 could be thick enough to put the oil pressure above the recommended range. Also the thicker oil will not be able to flow and extract heat as well as a lighter oil, so a lighter oil that allows you to stay in the recommended range could be a good choice. The main thing I would stress is that your oil fall between 51 and 65 psi at 3000 rpms when in neutral as Nissan recommends. This is the pressure Nissan is shooting for in their oil viscosity recommendations. Racing or a worn engine may require adjustments in these viscosities to fall within the correct pressure range.
